Remix? NO...!!!

I love to listen to the radio, while I am in the car to be specific. I don’t have radio at home, or listen to the radio online or via my mobile phone. I love to sing along when I am listening to the song. But I feel so irritated when I am enjoying singing the song but then suddenly I find that the song is the remixed one. Aarrghhh? Remix? NO! I will change the channel. For me, mixing, did by a DJ is a song’s pollution. HAHAHAHA…!!!

But, now I know more about mixing, the thing that a DJ love and always do with music. They call it house music. Errr.. dubstep… okay, don’t ask me to differentiate all that terms but now I know more terms that a DJ uses. A DJ doesn’t call a song as a song. They call it as record or track. Ehem ehem. I can write a DJ’s dictionary after this. Why I started knowing all these? Because he is a DJ.

“I will show my music tonight”, he sent that text to me when I was having barbeque dinner with friends.

I am going to meet him! I am going to meet him!!!

We spent the night together in my car. ONLY in my car. WHY? He was wearing short and he said he feel that it is not proper for him to walk outside in public with me with his image. Not good for me. For me, it is a HAHAHAHAHA…!!! The positive thing is, he has high manners. But I told him, “You love to think so much about what others will think and say.”

Okay, I am okay to stay in my car so I parked nearby the seaside. He switched on his laptop with the desktop background, an 'I' letter, followed by a heart shape, then a house shape and then a music chord (eerr.. symbol that they use to write do, re, mi, fa so....).

“I love house music”, he explained the combination of that four symbols.

He showed me the software that he uses to mix songs. They call it, mixer. Eerrr.. yeah, mixer. There were so many new terms for me that night. With full stomach, to digest a lot of new things with the mind set ‘REMIX? NO!’, I felt so sleepy too. I did not enjoy the music as much as I enjoyed looking to his face. He was so occupied with his music, full of enjoyment when explaining about the effects he can do to a track (song) and I can see his passion on DJ-ing through his facial expression.

Maybe after this, I will never say, “REMIX? NO!!!”
